The images on this page are of my partner and I. From a shoot we created together in the spirit of everything Echos of Strength Photography is built upon.
We each came to this relationship having done our own separate inner work. Having healed. Having rebuilt ourselves from the inside out, independently, intentionally, and with great care. And then we found each other. Not from a place of needing to be completed, but from a place of already being whole.
What you see in these images is not performance. It is recognition. Two people who see each other ~ truly, completely, without the need to hide or diminish or pretend. That is what a healed relationship looks like. And that is what we want to help you capture.

A couples session at Echos of Strength Photography is a collaborative, unhurried, deeply intentional experience. Here is how we bring your story to life together.
Your Vision Questionnaire
Before we meet, both of you will receive a carefully crafted questionnaire, an invitation to explore individually what you would each love to see, and what vision excites you as a couple. This is where the concept begins to take shape.
Your Consultation
From your answers, we connect for a one hour consultation, the three of us, to bring your individual visions together into one shared concept. We shape the characters, the costuming, the atmosphere, and the story we are about to tell.
Creating the Sacred Space
When you arrive at my home studio on the Sunshine Coast, we slow down and build your world together. Music, costuming, props ~ every element chosen to help you both step fully into your characters and into each other.
Hair, Makeup & Styling
As a trained hair and makeup artist, I will be able to prepare both of you for your session. Every detail considered, every element in service of bringing your vision to life.
The Session
Your session is up to four hours. I work alongside you both, watching for the moments of genuine connection, the glances, the touches, the quiet spaces between you that say everything words cannot. Those are the moments I photograph.
Your Portraits
From your session, you will receive four professionally edited, high resolution digital portraits. Images that tell your story ~ the truth of who you are, together.
Not just a portrait of two people. A portrait of what love looks like when it has survived, and chosen, and become.
