What is ‘The Reawakening?’
The Reawakening is a cinematic, deeply personal portrait experience created for women who are ready to meet the version of themselves they have always dreamed of – and see her, finally, looking back at them from the image.
This is not a glamour shoot. It is not a test of how photogenic you are, how symmetrical your features are, or how you look on an ordinary Tuesday. It is a portrait of who you are becoming.
Together we will explore the alter ego, the unexplored persona, the character that has been living quietly inside you. A goddess, a warrior, a wild and untamed creature, a muse who has always known her own worth, and we will bring her to life through cinematic portraiture, costuming, styling and the creation of a sacred space built entirely around you.
The version of you that has been quietly transforming inside the chrysalis of everything you have survived – she is ready, finally, to unfurl her wings.
She is not a fantasy. She is a memory. The truest, most ancient version of yourself, waiting to be called back into the light.
The experience
Every Reawakening session is designed from the very first moment to feel held, unhurried, and entirely yours.
Informed by somatic practice, every session is held with a deep understanding of how the body carries experience, and how, with the right guidance, it remembers its own strength. This is not something you will find in any other photography studio. It is the thread that transforms a portrait session into something far more profound – a genuine experience of coming home to yourself. Most people have never imagined that a portrait session could offer this. That is exactly what makes ‘The Reawakening‘ unlike anything else.

Your Vision Questionnaire Before we meet, I will send you a carefully crafted questionnaire. A gentle invitation to begin exploring the vision of who you would love to see looking back at you. Who have you been quietly dreaming of becoming? What version of yourself has been waiting, perhaps for years, for permission to exist?
Your FaceTime Consultation From your answers, we connect over a one hour FaceTime consultation – just the two of us. We go deeper into your vision, explore the alter ego or persona beginning to emerge, and begin shaping what we are about to create together. By the time you arrive, we already know who we are bringing to life.
Creating the Sacred Space When you arrive at my home studio, we slow down. Together we create a sanctuary Music that makes you feel like yourself, costuming and props chosen to help you step into her, and a space that is built entirely around your comfort, your pace, and your vision. You will never feel rushed, judged, or out of your depth.
Hair & Makeup (optional extra) As a trained hair and makeup artist, I will prepare you for your session with my own hands. Every detail considered, every element in service of bringing her to life. You are in safe, skilled and deeply caring hands from the very first brush stroke.
The Session Your session is up to four hours. I work alongside you. Not directing you into poses that feel foreign, but watching for the moments when something true crosses your face, when your body remembers its own strength, when she begins to emerge. Those are the moments I photograph. I promise you, they are there. In every woman. Including you.
Your Portraits From your session, you will receive four professionally edited, high resolution digital portraits. Images that are truly, deeply, entirely yours. Visual evidence of your strength, your beauty, and the woman you are becoming. (Additional edited photographs can be purchased.)

Who is holding the space?
I am Renée. A Visual Arts graduate who majored in Photography, a graphic designer of fifteen years, a former model and burlesque performer, a hair and makeup artist – and a woman who has walked the road of healing herself.
I know what it is to lose yourself completely. To disappear from your own life and wonder if you will ever find your way back. And I know what it is to return – slowly, tenderly, one intentional step at a time.
I have since been training in somatic practice, deepening my understanding of how the body holds experience and how it can be gently guided forward into safety, strength and self-expression. This is the foundation from which I hold space for every woman who steps through my door.
When you come to me, you are not coming to a photographer who will point a camera at you and hope for the best. You are coming to a woman who has taken every one of these steps herself, and who will guide you, hold the space, and witness your emergence with the reverence it deserves.
You do not need to find your courage alone. I will hold that space for you, as a woman who has walked this road herself and knows every tender step of the way.
